Just Us Dance Theatre is expanding, and we’re thrilled to announce two part-time opportunities to join our team as a Company Manager and Creative Associate. If you are passionate about Hip Hop culture, street dance, social impact, and making art accessible to all, these roles offer unique opportunities to help shape the future of our company alongside our Artistic Director, Joseph Toonga.
Both positions are part-time, two days a week, and open to individuals who share our commitment to the arts as a tool for change and collaboration. You can apply for one position or bring your skills to both roles!
As Company Manager, you’ll play an essential role in the daily operations of Just Us Dance Theatre. This position involves supporting the Executive Producer and ensuring that our company runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be instrumental in providing administrative and logistical support, helping Just Us Dance Theatre grow and achieve its mission.
A detail-oriented and organised individual with experience in arts management, and a passion for Hip Hop culture and social impact.
Position 2: Creative Associate (2 Days a Week)
As Creative Associate, you will work closely with Artistic Director Joseph Toonga to drive the creative vision of Just Us Dance Theatre. This role involves researching and developing programmes, building new collaborations, and representing our company at events across both the theatre and street dance scenes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Joseph Toonga to research and redesign current programmes
• Develop new national and international collaborations
• Represent Just Us Dance Theatre at events and foster community connections
• Support the company’s artistic direction and help promote accessibility in the arts
